What if My Waist Beads Break?
If your waist beads break, it’s not always a bad thing — in many African and diaspora traditions, a break can symbolise spiritual release, growth, or protection. That said, we know it's still frustrating
Most breakages happen from tying them too tight or from rough handling. To prevent this:
- Don’t pull or stretch them like elastic — they’re meant to rest, not stretch.
- Avoid snagging them on clothing or sharp objects.
- Don’t sleep in beads that sit too low on your hips — higher placements are safer at night.
If your beads break within 30 days of purchase and it was a fault in materials, reach out — we’ll make it right.
